Prof. L. S. Ramaswami Memorial Oration
Prof. L. S. Ramaswami, FNA, was a distinguished reproductive biologist and made seminal contributions in the understanding of basic reproductive processes of primates & their use in contraceptive developments.
Professor Ramaswami was recipient of Sunder Lal Hora Medal of INSA and Dr. (Mrs.) Shantha Rao Oration award of the Institute for Research in Reproduction, Mumbai.
Prof. L. S. Ramaswami Memorial Oration to be conferred to senior scientist in recognition of their outstanding research in the area of reproductive health.
Nominations for this award are invited from distinguished scientists. Self nominations will also be considered. The research work carried out by the nominee should demonstrate novelty and/or its utility in the betterment of reproductive health.
The recipient of the award will be felicitated with a gold plated medal and a citation.
